My Thoughts Around My Training
I am always thinking to myself "What's important?".
I come back to this when working with my business or training dogs. My list continues to grow, but there are a few fundamentals I rely on:
-
To offer my highest quality of service, maximizing my chance of success. This creates the opportunity to offer dog training and behavioral services full-time. Therefore helping as many families as possible.
-
To be transparent. To communicate clearly. To be understanding.
-
To build an education backed by science. This keeps information observable and measurable, ensuring the accuracy of any claims made. This way my service remains effective and efficient while maintaining a strong focus on animal welfare.
-
To not only improve the welfare of the individual dog, but their family, and the community around them. This helps lower overall stress and anxiety. It also prevents potential negative outcomes for any dog or other individual.
-
To educate others. To spread humane, compassionate, and effective training and knowledge to those around us.
“Be a friend. Not an owner.”
