Learning and Adapting To Life

As I continue my journey through my dog training career, I often find myself learning new life lessons.

A recent learning experience has been working with/through so many "unknowns".

It's not easy trying something you've never done before. It's not easy being uncomfortable. It's hard to break old habits to establish more positive and beneficial ones. It's hard to leave the safe and known for the risky and unknown. (This goes for us as well as our dogs!)

What I have learned is to focus on what you CAN control and not what you CANNOT control.

Do your best, that's all you can do.

Stay honest. Stay focused.

Do the right thing, not the easy thing.
